Analytical mind? Results orientated? Great with customers? Join our growing residential rental team.
Notting Hill Housing (NHH) is passionate about giving Londoners the opportunity to love where they live. Folio London is part of the NHH Group and manages our market rent portfolio, offering good quality properties to professional Londoners. We're a commercial business with a social purpose. We maximise rental income by offering exceptional customer service and keeping our running costs to a minimum so we can generate surplus for the Group to reinvest in building affordable homes for Londoners in need.
We're looking for someone as commercially minded as us, who can adopt a proactive approach to rent and arrears collection. With our zero tolerance attitude towards bad debt, you'll be trusted to collect 100% of the rental income (current and former debt) from our Folio residents. You'll be invaluable to our team as income collection is vital to our purpose, ensuring we remain financially viable and have a solid base on which to grow.
You'll have senior level access from day one - working closely with the Director of Folio to make sure we reach our KPIs for cash collection and aged debt. Alongside your credit control and rent collection experience, we'll expect you to have the knowledge to be able to recommend any necessary write offs of bad debt as well as the report writing skills to give regular performance updates. We'll need you to be customer focused, to keep meticulous records of all arrears actions taken and be capable of preparing and presenting strong legal cases in court. To do this well, you'll need to have great knowledge of relevant legislation and will have put that into practice with experience of issuing legal notices to tenants.
We want you to grow in this role. We'll support your professional development, and give you exposure to the residential rental market as well as the housing association world to boost your holistic knowledge of the housing sector.
In return for your hard work, we will offer you 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, season ticket loan, cycle 2 work scheme, childcare vouchers, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer.
Applications close at midday on 31st May 2017.
Candidates who are short listed will need to complete the following stages of recruitment, with only candidates who are successful at each stage moving to the next:
* Technical test & interview - 6th June 2017
