We have an exciting opportunity available to join our friendly Civil Enforcement team here at Hastings Borough Council.\n \nAs a Civil Enforcement Officer, your role will be to provide an essential and valued service at the core of our public protection and community safety work. You will be fully supported in this role and will undertake patrols across the town, including in our off-street car parks. During these patrols, you will play a significant role in reducing enviro-crime and anti-social behaviour and helping to ensure our town remains a beautiful place to visit and enjoy. This work will be carried out in close partnership with other agencies, including the Police, other council departments and the local community.\n \nThe ideal candidate will be someone with experience working with the public. Having some form of enforcement experience would be an advantage, but full training will be offered to the right person.\n \nYou will be working with a team and organisation that has achieved Community Safety Accreditation through Sussex Police and you will be required to work towards this status.\n \nWhat we are looking for is someone with a passion to make a difference and help deliver the council’s vision to create a better Hastings; a strong community, where our residents can enjoy an excellent quality of life in an attractive environment.
