This is an exiting opportunity to join the Independent Travel Training Service. Travel trainers support adults and young people with disabilities and/or autism to travel confidently, safely and independently across the borough so they can access school, further education or day care settings.
The post holder will deliver training (1-1 &amp; small groups) and support trainees travelling on public transport. They will work closely with parents, carers and support networks, undertake risk assessments to maintain trainee safety and use effective action planning and assessments to achieve independent travel for their caseload.
We have two part time posts available, each working 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday across the borough.&nbsp; As the role involves supporting adults and young people to travel to school, college or day care settings you need to be able to work flexibly, including early mornings and/or late afternoons. The hours are likely to be 7am-12noon and/or 2pm-6pm.

Travel trainers support young people and adults to travel safely on public transport independently.&nbsp; You will be working with the trainee and their support network to plan and deliver a bespoke travel training programme. Working peripatetically across the borough, you will manage a caseload of trainees and be responsible for their progression throughout the training.&nbsp; Our programmes develops confidence and skills that enable trainees to tackle journeys independently.&nbsp;

Chester Diocesan Academies Trust and The Governors of Huxley C.E. Primary School are eager to appoint an outstanding SEND Teaching Assistant to teach and support a small group of children- mainly within LKS2 class. We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic, dedicated, nurturing team from September on a morning only basis (5 mornings as these children are full time pupils).
Huxley CE Primary is a mainstream school that offers flexi-schooling provision. The majority of our children attend school on the core days of Tuesday- Thursday and are educated at home for the remainder of the week. In partnership with the parents, we wish to deliver a holistic educational experience which embraces both ‘in school’ and ‘at home’ learning. The group you will be supporting in the morning have some support needs and therefore experience of working with SEND children is essential. We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of ASD and ADHD and takes a trauma informed approach to supporting our pupils to thrive to be the best that they can be. Your role will be to assist the class teacher in delivery of curriculum whilst also supporting the pupil’s individual plans (this includes short sensory breaks, movement and art therapy).
We are looking for a teaching assistant with a strong commitment to raising attainment and providing challenging opportunities to engage all learners, develop the whole child and support wellbeing. It is important to us that you are a nurturing and compassionate practitioner with strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for a&nbsp;teaching assistant&nbsp;who can help provide and support a range of memorable and exciting educational experiences to ensure that our children not only love to attend school but are inspired to learn and will thrive in our school. &nbsp;
It is important to us that you have a willingness to contribute and play an active part in our strong team ethos as our school expands and grows. We are looking for someone with experience of supporting teaching in all key stages (ideally with mixed age teaching).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Governors of Monks Coppenhall Academy seek to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated 1.0 FTE Key Stage 1 class teacher.&nbsp;&nbsp;
This is a temporary position to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder. There is flexibility to offer a start date of either September 2025 or after the Autumn half term. This can be negotiated with the successful candidate.&nbsp;&nbsp;
It is expected that the contract will end in July 2026 when the postholder returns.&nbsp;
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a class teacher mentor and the supervision of a member of the leadership team. SEN Teaching Assistant: 35 hours per week/38 weeks per year. Grade 5 Permanent

The Governing Body of Winnington Park Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled Data and Administration Officer to join our committed, professional and hardworking team to ensure the day-to-day operations of the school continue to run efficiently and smoothly.
Candidates will be able to manage the diverse demands of a busy school office and work as part of both the office and whole school teams. They should be able to demonstrate a willingness to support the warm, caring and inclusive ethos of the school. Experience of working within a primary school office is preferable.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, conscientious, organised, flexible and enthusiastic with an attention to detail. They will be able to act on their own initiative and with discretion. A competency in spelling, grammar and mental arithmetic is essential along with good time management and the ability to communicate effectively in person, over the telephone and through email.
The hours of employment are 3 days a week from 8.15am to 3.45pm, in term time only.
