Working within a team of Caseworkers you will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service.</p>\n<p><strong>What you need to succeed in this role:</strong></p>\n<p>At a minimum, you will be able to demonstrate:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong administrative skills</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills including good written communication</li>\n<li>Confidence in dealing with people at all levels</li>\n<li>A conscientious attitude with excellent attention to detail</li>\n<li>Good organisational skills</li>\n<li>Good time management and the ability to multi task, plan and prioritise work effectively</li>\n<li>A good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills</li>\n<li>Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support the wider team</li>\n<li>The ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly</li>\n<li>The ability to work independently and use initiative</li>\n<li>Enthusiasm for learning and personal development</li>\n</ul>\n<p>It would be great if you also have:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>An interest in Law</li>\n<li>Experience in a similar role</li>\n<li>Experience with case management systems</li>\n<li>An understanding of the importance of GDPR</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you'll do on a typical day:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process daily incoming post</li>\n<li>Prepare Legal documents for signing/sealing under instruction from Legal specialists</li>\n<li>Respond to email enquiries from conveyancing solicitors regarding Leaseholder enquiries and remortgage enquiries, co-ordinating the responses from specialists across the organisation</li>\n<li>Maintain and update relevant databases as well as hard copy files</li>\n<li>Process requests for Road closures and issue orders with guidance from specialists</li>\n<li>Review leases to respond to queries, liaising with specialists when required</li>\n<li>Draft legal documentation in relation to granting home improvement loans as well as their redemptions </li>\n<li>Assist with Equity Share Rent Arrear queries</li>\n<li>Order Official Copies from HM Land Registry</li>\n<li>Provide legal support as required for other officers within the Council</li>\n<li>General HR queries, assisting the HR Caseworker when required (logging sickness, probation reports, new starter clearances)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What's in it for you?</strong></p>\n<p>With some 700 employees, we are a diverse organisation delivering a wide range of services and employing people with an even broader range of skills.
