We are looking for positive individuals with strong communication and team working skills and previous experience of customer service and administration work, preferably in an organisation that delivers housing allocations, property lettings or related services.

We are looking for an Integrated Support Workers to join our Community Care Service, supporting the coordination of care and support for people receiving services from Micare, with a particular focus on those receiving support from multiple Health and Social care services, such as those at the end of their life.
About the role…
<ul>
<li>Acting as a single point of contact for the person receiving services, removing duplication and ensuring the person only tells their story once.</li>
<li>Liaising with a multi-disciplinary team across Health and Social care services to bring together a range of support to one place.</li>
<li>Support the coordinators with implementing care and support across all pathways to include Crisis Response, Reablement, D2A, C2A, safety net and complex care. This will also include first visits assessments, which means you will be required to be available during your working hours to go out into the community at short notice.</li>
<li>Cover calls for Micare if there is a need and attend meetings both face to face and virtually when required.</li>
</ul>
About you…
<ul>
<li>An experienced social care worker, you will be passionate about care at the end of life, empathetic, caring and responsive to people’s needs, wishes and preferences.</li>
<li>NVQ 3/QCF in Social Care or willingness and ability to achieve within agreed timescale.</li>
<li>Flexible in working patterns in order to ensure the needs of the people receiving support are met. Your working hours will include weekend working every other week.</li>
<li>You will be able to work from various locations across Rutland to include People’s homes, Rutland Memorial Hospital, Uppingham Surgery, Catmose House and Oakham Enterprise Park. Additional locations may be included as per service development.</li>

About the role…
As a MiCare Support Worker you:
<ul>
<li>Provide support to adults to develop and maintain activities of daily living, including personal care.</li>
<li>Support people to undertake a range of social care tasks such as washing, dressing/undressing, showering, and bathing, meal preparation, domestic activities and engaging in community activities.</li>
<li>Undertake a range of delegated health care tasks as required such as prompt prescribed medication, supporting the application of prescribed creams, eye and ear drops, catheter care and prompting exercise as prescribed by the physiotherapist.</li>
</ul>
It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and access to a car to enable you to work in this role.
Basic pay of £12.45 - £12.65 per hour, Saturdays at £18.68 - £18.98 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £24.90 - £25.30 per hour.&nbsp;
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, if you have the passion and commitment to help and support others then we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us!

About the role:
This is a varied role that would suit an individual who has sound knowledge in childcare legislation, advocacy and participation and is passionate about making meaningful relationships to achieve change.
We are offering this role on a fixed term basis for external applicants.&nbsp; Internal staff would be offered a secondment opportunity to further develop skill sets/knowledge.&nbsp; Approval from current line managers must be sought before applying.
The role will require you to be able to work flexibly, which will include evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of our children and young people.
Please note the successful candidate will require a full driving licence to travel around Rutland and the wider area.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Environmental Health Officer to join our Food and Health &amp; Safety Team. This role will involve a wide range of regulatory functions, balancing proportionate enforcement interventions with providing advice and support to our local businesses.
You will be carrying out food hygiene inspections, service requests, reactive and proactive health and safety enforcement, infectious disease controls, complaint investigations, approved premises inspections and enforcement work.&nbsp; You must be experienced in carrying out food hygiene official controls and the preparation and service of statutory notices and prosecutions.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to providing good customer care.&nbsp; You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be a great team player.&nbsp; The successful candidate must be able to travel throughout the borough to attend site visits as required by the role.&nbsp; We are an agile organisation working flexibly from home and the office in a hybrid work pattern, so you will need to be self-motivated and be able to work well independently.
Applicants must be appropriately qualified in accordance with the Food Standards Agency Food Law Code of Practice, having a degree in Environmental Health or equivalent as well as a Certificate of Registration of the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).&nbsp; If you are driven and enjoy a varied and challenging workload, we would love to hear from you.

This is a key role in supporting the financial management of our Housing Service (General Fund and Housing Revenue Account), helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality housing services to our tenants and residents.
 You will work closely with colleagues across the Housing and Finance teams to provide expert financial advice, support budget setting and monitoring, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead on the preparation and monitoring of the HRA budget and business plan
 • Provide financial support and insight to housing managers and heads of service
 • Ensure compliance with the Local Government Finance Act, CIPFA codes, and other relevant regulations
 • Prepare year-end HRA accounts and support the external audit process
 • Contribute to rent setting, service charge reviews, and long-term financial modelling
 • Assist in the development of financial strategies to support service improvement and sustainability About You We are looking for someone who is:
 • A qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) or actively studying towards qualification

 • Skilled in financial planning, budget monitoring, and financial reporting
 • A confident communicator, able to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely
 • Proficient in using financial systems and Excel to analyse and present data effectively
