Lifelong Links can help a child to develop supportive, stable relationships during and after their time in care providing them with stability, security and a sense of belonging.Lifelong Links is an evidenced based programme, developed by the Family Rights Group. Bird Aware Essex is a partnership initiative working to protect the internationally important birdlife of the Essex coast. The project aims to raise awareness of coastal birds and encourage responsible recreation so that people and wildlife can share the coast harmoniously.
Working as part of our friendly and passionate team, the successful applicant will lead on the development of online and offline communications, social media, marketing campaigns and media relations to increase the visibility and impact of the project. Alongside this, duties include supporting collaborative working with partner organisations as well as rangers and other members of the Bird Aware Essex team to ensure a consistent and professional approach to all communications.
Applicants will be experienced communications or marketing professionals with a proven ability to plan, deliver and evaluate campaigns across multiple channels, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex environmental messages into clear and engaging content.
The post holder will be confident using a range of digital tools and platforms, including social media management, website editing, analytics and design software such as Canva. A creative approach, combined with good organisational and time management skills, will be essential. A genuine interest in wildlife, conservation and the natural environment is highly desirable, as is the ability to work effectively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders.
