<h2>About the role</h2>The Public Toilets Senior Supervisor (Maintenance) will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations throughout the city for the maintenance and plumbing service for public toilets and toilets in buildings associated within Environmental ServicesThe position will also support the Operations Manager in planning, organising, and coordinating day-to-day operations for the Public Toilets service.The role will involve line managing&nbsp;Multi Skilled Operatives as well as assisting the Operations Manager in supervisory duties of Toilet Cleansing Operative staff.The role will also be responsible for identifying and implementing safe working practices and identifying and organising training for public toilet staff.It will also include daily supervision of public toilet staff with a focus on maintenance, attending meetings and liaising with the management when required, and responding to queries and complaints where necessary.Why it’s an opportunity not to be wasted<ul>
<li>Monitoring workforce performance against targets to ensure all daily/weekly/monthly KPIs are met. Address any ongoing issues as appropriate.</li>

Your key tasks will be:<ul>
<li>To maintain, service and inspect a fleet, including HGV, non HGV and specialist vehicles, Heavy and light plant (including MOT programme) in accordance with legislation, manufacturer’s recommendations and with ‘O’&nbsp;licence requirements.</li>
<li>To work with advanced electronic diagnostic systems, interpret technical data and apply knowledge in order to carry out complex diagnosis, and repair faults in a timely manner.</li>
<li>To ensure all paperwork, as required by legislation, and associated with repairs and potential insurance claims are completed compliantly and correctly signed off.</li>
<li>To ensure that drivers reporting faults have carried out the appropriate paperwork and procedures.</li>
<li>To undergo the necessary manufacturer’s training on vehicles and equipment and training on legislative and technical changes, in order to keep up to date with fast moving technologies and legislation.</li>
<li>To maintain accurate records in order to produce records regarding vehicle and machinery repairs, as requested.</li>
<li>To carry out all work independently ensuring a quality of service is maintained so that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards to comply with health and safety requirements.</li>
<li>To keep the workshop and store clean and tidy and to undertake cleaning tasks as required.</li>
