About the Role
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is recruiting for a highly experienced Events Manager. You will lead a diverse, high‑profile programme of corporate and city region events—ranging from conferences, international summits and ministerial visits to cultural moments, launches and project milestones. You will own end‑to‑end delivery: setting objectives, shaping concepts, building timelines, managing budgets and ensuring each event reflects our brand, values and mission.
This role will report to the Head of Corporate Affairs and will manage an Events Officer and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary colleagues across multiple concurrent events.
Key responsibilities will include event planning &amp; delivery, corporate affairs integration, venues and logistics, programmes and content, supplier management, promotion and marketing, on site leadership, promotion and marketing of core events, evaluation and insight to measure ROI and inform continuous improvement.
 About the person
We’re looking for someone with relevant qualification in public relations, events or engagement or equivalent professional experience. A proven track record in planning and delivering complex events in a local authority, public sector or corporate setting. You’re a collaborative stakeholder able to build relationships across senior internal and external audiences.
With supplier and budget management experience you are extremely confident and negotiating contracts and ensuring value for money. You’ll excel when it comes to attention to detail and be highly astute at multi-tasking multiple workstreams simultaneously. All fully complemented by data collection techniques and performance measurement inform decision making and evaluate impact.

About the Role
The post will provide professional project management support delivery to the AI Programme Team, supporting AI Adoption in the Region, working with academia, public and private sector partners to drive forward implementation.

We are looking for a Commissioning Support Officer to work with two Commissioning and Contract Leads on a specific time- limited project (12 months) managing complex funding arrangements with the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB).

About the Programme
Are you looking to start your career in property and asset management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Assistant Asset Surveyor to join our multi-disciplinary Asset Management Team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the management of a diverse property portfolio and delivering strategic asset management objectives for the Council.
This includes support for becoming a member of the RICS.&nbsp; This would include an Assessment of Professional Competence which we would support you to achieve.
What You’ll Do

Role Summary&nbsp;
The purpose of this vital role is to organise, maintain, and monitor the School's personnel systems and manage office functions to ensure an effective service to the school. The School Business Manager is also responsible for line managing administrative staff and the site manager, ensuring resources are deployed effectively and efficiently to support the work of the school.&nbsp;
Key Responsibilities and Duties&nbsp;
As the School Business Manager, you will be crucial to the school's effective operation across several key areas:&nbsp;
Leadership &amp; Strategy&nbsp;
Plan and manage change in line with MAT policy and the school's strategic plan. Attend senior management/leadership team and appropriate CFO/Headteacher meetings.&nbsp; Be responsible for the effective management of financial internal control procedures and compliance with financial regulations.&nbsp; Line manage administrative staff and the site manager, including recruitment, induction, appraisal, and training for these staff.&nbsp;
 Personnel &amp; HR&nbsp;
Manage HR contracts and payroll changes and be responsible for monthly salary control.&nbsp;
Undertake personnel administration, including SCR and DBS checks, and managing all new starter paperwork. Coordinate staff sickness and HR support, and manage recruitment and staff appointments. .Administration &amp; Resource&nbsp;
Manage the administrative function, including ICT facilities, school reception, and records. Be responsible for the Workforce Census and assist the Headteacher in updating the school risk register. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, monitor external contracts, and oversee central resources management. &nbsp;
Compliance&nbsp;
Effectively manage GDPR in line with legislation and oversee the audit process. Coordinate PAT testing and manage contractor relationships.&nbsp; Update the business plan and critical incident plan annually and provide support for Health and Safety regulations.&nbsp;
Revenue Generation&nbsp;
Identify and seek new methods of income generation to fund the school’s proposed activities.&nbsp; Actively promote the marketing of the school and its resources to maximise income through external funding, sponsorship, and lettings.&nbsp; Prepare bids for funding and monitor the effectiveness of funding agreements School Safeguarding Statement:&nbsp;
