About the role
We’re set to launch a new organisational strategy in the autumn, and as part of this, we have ambitious plans to grow both our brand awareness and our income; to support the impact we can have for people affected by breast cancer.&nbsp; We’re recruiting for a senior marketing and communications planning and measurement manager to join the charity’s newly created brand, marketing and communications directorate and play a critical role in achieving these strategic ambitions. This new role will be pivotal in supporting our ambitions to build brand awareness, drive income and engagement.

To work truly cross organisationally, you’ll possess excellent interpersonal and consultative skills and be adept at building and managing positive working relationships with people at all levels.&nbsp; You’ll also have strong project management experience, to support the implementation of new planning processes.&nbsp; &nbsp;And you’ll be experienced in using audience data and insight to develop successful marketing and communications strategies, along with performance data to monitor and maximise impact.

We’re looking for a senior digital marketing manager – email to jointly lead our team as part of a job share to deliver high performing email campaigns and automations to support the charity’s activity. Working closely together with the other senior digital marketing manager – email, you’ll work across large email projects and campaigns, support the team’s workload and priorities, and create processes to best support their success.
Line managing a senior officer role, you’ll support their development and contribute to our email strategy together with the head of digital engagement.
Working with the senior manager, marketing and communications planning and measurement (owned earned shared paid channels) you’ll be a key part of shaping and ensuring consistency across all our channels.
About you
You’ll have substantial email experience and knowledge, being confident creating and optimizing complex automations alongside managing relationships with email platforms.
You’ll be passionate about delivering the best experience and engagement with email, and understand best practices and the importance of data and testing.
You’ll be well organised and have strong prioritisation and communication skills, working across the organization on a diverse range of campaigns and projects.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our London office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 2 days per week at home. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Key Responsibilities&nbsp;&nbsp;

<li>Strategy &amp; Campaigns – Help create and execute data-driven destination marketing plans targeting key audiences (leisure, events, business tourism).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Digital Leadership - Manage Sefton’s destination website/social media channels (SEO, content, paid ads), growing engagement and conversion.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Partnership Building - Collaborate with hotels, attractions, media, and industry bodies on joint campaigns.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Content Creation - Oversee compelling content (video, blogs, photography) that captures Sefton’s unique experiences.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Performance Tracking - Monitor KPIs (web traffic, social engagement, visitor spend) and report on ROI.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Market Insight- Research trends, visitor behaviour, and competitor activity to inform strategy.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
