Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Manager The Safeguarding Adults Service is seeking to appoint a Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Manager to lead and develop local practice to comply with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and co-ordinate and provide guidance on Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards requests. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills with colleagues and service users, the ability to implement cultural change to improve processes and procedures, and a proven record of risk management. Suitable candidates must demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and commitment to the wider safeguarding agenda.
