We have an exciting opportunity to recruit two fixed term (12 months) Senior Youth Offending Team Officers within Cheshire Youth Justice Service. About the Role
You will work alongside the wider project team and practitioners, using a standardised project management framework based on recognised methodologies, tools and templates to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard throughout the project lifecycle, with the opportunity to support in all aspects of planning, monitoring, reporting and control.

You role will help develop and support delivery of decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects in partnership with the six Local Authorities in the city region, North West Net Zero Hub and business partners. These projects will have a real impact on the environment and local communities as part of net zero targets, economic growth and social justice agendas
Main responsibilities

<li>•‍To support the Liverpool City Region Energy team in delivering CA funded programmes in partnership with Local Authorities and delivery partners</li>
<li>•‍To gather numeric and qualitative evidence to coordinate data returns and reconciliation&nbsp;</li>
<li>•‍ To provide meeting administration and facilitation support</li>
<li>•‍To provide support in maintaining project management documentation and methodology</li>
<li>•‍To support bidding for new funds to meet the energy and net zero ambitions in the city region</li>
<li>•‍To draft briefs and support delivery of consultancy work to support project development and delivery</li>
<li>•‍To maintain good communications with key delivery partners especially Local Authorities and delivery partners   </li>
<li>•‍To seek out and explore policy best practice from the UK and internationally, and to provide interpretation of key lessons for the Liverpool City Region</li>

We are recruiting for a Project Manager to coordinate a multi-year project delivering retrofit decarbonisation, heat networks and solar PV to sites and public buildings across the City Region.
The role will collaborate with stakeholders including funders, local authorities, supply chain and delivery partners and work alongside the North West Net Zero Hub using a standardised project management framework, methodologies, tools and templates.&nbsp; However, you will have the autonomy to determine the best way forward for your project, motivating and leading the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

Main responsibilities
<ul>
<li>-Leading and managing the project team through all stages of initiation, delivery and close within time, cost and quality parameters. Turning evidence into action by developing the scope of projects, planning key activities and milestones, and driving forward their delivery.</li>
<li>-Building up sufficient technical sector-specific knowledge as appropriate to lead assigned projects (energy, solar and public building decarbonisation). Training and support will be provided.</li>
<li>-Leading development of collaborative relationships with key project stakeholders including North West Net Zero Hub, project sponsors and external parties such as funders, local authorities, suppliers and subject matter experts.</li>
<li>-Working with colleagues to put in place proportionate project governance arrangements to ensure appropriate levels of oversight and stakeholder engagement in line with the Project Management Framework and any funding requirements.</li>
<li>-Work with Programme Managers, project team and other key stakeholders to agree approvals pathways, develop and maintaining project management artefacts – undertaking good document control practices including tracking programme plans, risks, issues, change control, lesson learned, comms and engagement, escalating and delegating as appropriate.</li>
<li>-Work with the LCRCA Procurement and legal team to procure external services, ensuring effective oversight of contractor resource and supplier input, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments.</li>
