Job Details Do you want to make a difference for customers in your work? Can you juggle competing priorities, work to deadlines and solve problems? Would you like every day to be different? Do you want to work with residents and communities? Enfield Council Housing Services is looking for motivated and performance driven people who can work with tenants and deliver excellent customer focused services as Neighbourhood Officers. The role is all about supporting the development of safe and cohesive communities by assisting tenants to manage and sustain their tenancies. Working in one of our Neighbourhood Management Teams you will be the main contact point for our tenants in your own ‘patch’. You will also be responsible for investigating complaints of anti-social behaviour, working in partnership with the Community Safety Unit, Police and other stakeholders, as well as investigating and dealing with tenancy related issues. You will be responsible for supporting on neighbourhood inspections, where the main priority is the upkeep and maintenance of our properties and the local environment. To be successful in this challenging role you have excellent written and verbal communications skills; be able to work independently and have good IT skills and an aptitude for customer service. We want our Neighbourhood Officers to be out and about in the communities they serve, so it would be desirable for you to be able to travel across the borough and to have access to a car. While experience in housing management is helpful, more importantly you will have a passion and ability to help us make a difference to quality of life on our estates.
