Part time Sales Advisor

We are looking for a part-time Sales Advisors to work at Bracknell Leisure Centre working on a shift pattern to cover the essential opening hours of the Centre which will include mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Bracknell Leisure Centre attracts in the region of 700,000 customers per year and the sales from the use of the facilities and memberships are a key part of the Centre’s income, therefore all sales need to be fully maximised.

As the first point of contact for customers at the Centre it is vital that the Sales Advisors provide a smooth, efficient and customer focussed service at all times to enhance that first impression. You will be responsible for giving advice and encouraging both existing and potential customers to use our superb leisure facilities and you should be confident, outgoing and approachable with a very pro-active approach to your work.

One of the main features of the role is to sell the Centre’s facilities, activities and memberships to potential users and existing members. You will be required to generate sales through a variety of mediums including:

  • Making Outbound calls
  • Direct mail
  • Web based leads
  • Word of mouth
  • Walk - ins

You will also be responsible for monitoring and measuring membership recruitment and retention, and producing monthly sales data to the management team.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role with a proven record of generating sales within a leisure environment. It goes without saying that you will also have excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative. A keen interest in sport, health and fitness would be an advantage.
