The ServiceThe Education Information and Performance Team is responsible for the management of education information for Portsmouth City Council and its partners, including collecting statutory data, and providing analysis and interpretation of data about children and young people. The Data Officer will be a key member of the Education sub-team that will have responsibility for Synergy and other education IT systems. The RoleThis role principally involves supporting the Education Service and users of the education IT systems, notably Synergy but also including SSE, ranging from team admin duties to meeting the requirements of business users and statutory duties. This role includes supporting good recording practice, correcting erroneous data on the database, solving data recording problems across the department and identifying areas of consistent errors which could benefit from user training. We are looking for a Customer Repairs Officer to join our Customer Repairs Team supporting all our building maintenance teams. Candidates must be enthusiastic, good communicators, organised, methodical and able to prioritise multiple demands. What can we offer? You will be based at one of the Area Housing Offices working as part of the Customer Repairs team reporting directly to the Senior Customer Repairs Officer and Assistant Customer Repairs Manager The Customer Repairs Officer role will be supporting the Building Repairs teams providing a repairs service. You will work flexibly in a call centre and be part of a rota which is regularly reviewed and adjusted appropriately to meet the demands of the service undertaking your contracted hours. You will act as the main point of contact for residents, leaseholders, PCC employees and site managers who are requesting repairs. You will need to be able to collect accurate repair information and ask effective questions ensuring that the right resource is allocated to undertake the repair at the right time that is convenient with the customer. You will also support all the Building Repairs teams providing a repairs service by carrying out a range of technical administrative duties including, updating repairs following authorisation of quotes, customer satisfaction surveys, administering Disabled Facility Grants (DFG) requests, uploading information to our stock database, arranging surveyor and annual service appointments. Skills: Your application needs to demonstrate that you: 1.	Ideally have experience in a telephone or call centre role, managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner 2.	Have customer service experience, strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills. 3.	Able to develop relationships with residents and building occupiers, asking the right questions to get the information required, as well as someone who shows empathy for people who may be in difficult situations. 4.	Ability to remain calm &amp; professional when dealing with difficult customers. 5.	Can work independently, is well organised, methodical and able to prioritise and manage multiple demands. 6. Customer Repairs Officer

You will be the Play Development Deputy Site Leader based in one of PCC's 6 adventures playgrounds (APG), deputising for the Play Development Site Manager and supervising a small team in their absence ensuring that safeguarding procedures are followed within the day to day running of an APG. The primary responsibility will be the delivery of high quality play activities which promote participation, inclusion and wellbeing. You’ll support children to follow their own ideas and interests for play as well as leading a variety of interesting and fun play activities. The role works on 30 hour per week annualised contract where the successful candidate works a total number of hours over the year, rather than a fixed number of hours per week or month. Specific duties are as follows: •	To support the Play Development Site Leader and deputise in their absence in the day to day running of the playground, being the site responsible person, including oversight of playground visitors, staff and resources including health and safety and safeguarding arrangements. •	To encourage an inclusive play environment which supports and stimulates freely chosen play. •	Support children and young people, establishing positive relationships and maintaining professional boundaries. •	To work collaboratively with staff and children to devise opportunities for playful experiences which reflect and change with children's need and play interests •	To complete risk-benefit assessments as necessary. •	To keep the site and building in a safe, clean and tidy condition. Commitment to PYC and PCC policies, especially Health and Safety and Safeguarding. 10.	Able to work flexibly across the week Monday - Saturday and throughout school holidays and cover at any of the 6 Adventure Playgrounds. The following would be desirable but not essential: 1.	Have some knowledge of maintenance and repairs; able to perform inspections of play structures and the playground space, and carry out remedial repairs and ongoing maintenance. 2. Your Role As our Tenant Partnership Officer, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening tenant engagement and fostering collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders. A major focus of this role will be building enrollment into Housing Improvement Workshops (HIWs) and supporting the Tenant and Resident Associations (TARA). You will work to strengthen the skills and capacity of the Tenant and Council Together (TACT) group, as well as drive engagement through digital channels to ensure we are meeting the needs of all our tenants.
You’ll be a key figure in amplifying tenant voices within our Governance framework, working proactively to ensure tenants feel heard and have opportunities to influence the services that affect them. You will help bridge the gap between tenants and the Landlord Services teams, ensuring that tenant feedback directly informs our co-production efforts and service improvements.
