Due to a period of exciting change and internal promotions, we have a number of vacancies across our Planning service!
Following the promotion of the current post holder, Camden is looking to recruit a Planning Assistant within its Development Management Service taking personal responsibility for dealing with various administrative tasks including logging correspondence, banking/invoicing, validation of applications and appeals administration.
You’ll assume responsibility for effective negotiation, stakeholder involvement and conflict resolution to ensure high quality and innovative outcomes that reflect council wide objectives and policies as well as ensure that enquiries and complaints are dealt with in a timely manner.
You’ll be part of a forward thinking and dynamic team ensuring the provision of a responsive, high performing and high quality service to customers.
You’ll have excellent communication and customer care skills, with an understanding of the role of local government in supporting residents through high quality services.
You’ll have some experience of working within a local authority environment with a basic understanding, or interest in public sector planning services..
To succeed, you will be a team player and have the ability to work within a team to deliver effective services.
