About the role
You will be joining a lively and busy Planning Policy team working on a review of the Local Plan. There will be opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of different policy areas and engage with developers, residents and other stakeholders in the planning process. Dorking, where the recently refurbished offices are located, is easily accessible with good amenities and is surrounded by fantastic countryside.
We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate who has a keen interest in planning and wishes to develop a career in planning policy. You will have some knowledge of national planning policy, a degree, ideally in town planning or a planning related subject, and be working towards a town planning qualification. You will be IT literate and be willing to try new ways of working and engaging with stakeholders.
