It will require the post holder to provide technical advice and support on energy, water and climate issues to Council stakeholders. This post will involve supporting the team leader (EEMS Utilities and Climate Officer) in the delivery of the team plan, as well as liaising with the other project officers. The role will involve working directly with stakeholders across the Council and so a friendly and professional approach is required.</p>\n<p>Core duties will include providing appropriate technical advice, assessment and management of data, production of reports, writing of funding bids, project development and delivery. A good level of knowledge of utility and environmental/climate initiatives would be required. The individual in post will be expected to be able to manage their time effectively. Attention to detail, with a through and meticulous approach is also required. In addition, the post requires a variety of skills and experience as set out in the job description and person specification.</p>\n<p>Training and support will be provided on an ongoing basis to ensure the post holder is supported to thrive in this position.
