At the top of the scale the post holder will manage more complicated planning applications and supervise their own graduate Planning Assistant. The post will therefore be suitable for someone who is already working at a Senior Planning Officer level and looking to develop their supervisory skills or for an experienced Planning Officer who is looking at taking the next step in their career. The post holder will be limited to Grade E until they attain membership of the RTPI at which point they move to SO1 and may progress up to SO2 without any restriction.
