About this key role As directed by the Caseworker or Team Leader, you will carry out promotional and engagement activities to recruit participants, as well as individual needs assessments with participants, obtaining information from referral agencies where possible.&nbsp; You will support participants in carrying out individual and group activities to implement their plans and make progress towards employment, plus act as a Peer Advisor to participants, providing ‘support from someone who has been there’.
We will also count on you to act as a positive role model for what participants can achieve, help develop their confidence and make referrals for specialist help, including what is available within the project, plus, as skills develop, take on a small caseload of participants.

The Post
This role within the Council’s Healthy Streets and Parking team is an opportunity to lead on air quality related projects.
The post holder will be responsible for taking forward the promotion and actions associated with our updated Air Quality Action Plan. About The Role
We are looking for a motivated, creative and committed individual to join the team our Housing Advice Team. You should have a keen interest in helping families and individuals at risk of homelessness to find solutions and with a focus on remaining in their current home.&nbsp; You must have experience of having worked within a statutory homelessness prevention service.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge and experience of working with the Housing Act 1996 and Homelessness Reduction Act (HRA) and a proven track record of preventing homelessness, providing detailed housing advice to residents with housing issues and be able to empathise with the with clients facing the homelessness and understand the Council’s legal duties to those clients.
In addition to the above, you must be able to demonstrate your experience of managing complex cases, providing support to more junior staff, working within a busy environment and work to tight deadlines.

About The Team You’ll Be Working In

At Caldicotes Primary Academy, we're seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children across all areas of KS1. Join us and play a vital role in helping every child access the curriculum, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential.About the roleAs a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers to provide targeted support-both one-to-one and in small groups-across all ages, being flexible to support Nursery through to Year 6 (predominantly KS1) To do this effectively, we would like candidates to already have relevant school experience. You'll assist with lesson delivery, support positive behaviours, prepare resources, and ensure our classroom environments are stimulating, safe, and inclusive. You'll also have opportunities to support trips and out-of-school activities. Skills and Experience we would like to see:<ul>
<li>Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or currently working towards it)</li>
<li>Experience supporting children in both Key Stage 1</li>
<li>Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND</li>
<li>Familiarity with phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc </li>
<li>Understanding of child development and how children learn</li>
<li>Confidence using digital tools to support learning and communication</li>
<li>Positive behaviour management experience</li>
<li>A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine passion for primary education</li>
<li>UK right to work, as this role is not eligible for sponsorship. </li>
