Reporting to the Head of Property Services, two key posts have been created to join our busy team that oversees the maintenance, repair and improvement of the homes we provide to over 10,000 tenants and leaseholders.

Responsible for leading the development and delivery of a multi-million pound responsive repairs and voids service, you will lead on the commercial and contractual aspects of the service.

Developing and maintaining strong partnering relationships with our long-term partnering contractor is key.

You will have strong leadership skills and the desire to drive continual service improvement. This is a senior level role and you will be required to represent the council and be confident communicating with external contractors, agencies, and Members. We are a customer focused organisation, and a strong commitment to their needs is required at all times.

For both roles, you will have a good level of experience working at senior level in property services, including the management of staff. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strategic approach to work and the skills to introduce new ideas and working practices.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
