Support Worker - White Lion Road, Little Chalfont, Amersham Part Time - 22.5 hours per weekAre you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our vibrant supported living service at White Lion Road, where six individuals with learning disabilities live independently in their own self-contained flats, supported 24/7.This is more than just a job - it is a chance to empower others to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.What You Will Be Doing:As a Support Worker, you will be a key part of a compassionate team, providing one-to-one personalised support. Your role will include:<ul><li>Creating and implementing tailored support plans</li><li>Encouraging independence through everyday life skills like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting</li><li>Delivering personal care with respect and sensitivity</li><li>Contributing to risk assessments and management plans</li><li>Supporting new team members through induction and mentoring</li><li>Helping individuals pursue their goals and aspirations</li></ul>What We Are Looking For:We are seeking someone with experience in care or support work, who brings a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive.You will also need to:<ul><li>Communicate clearly and adapt to individual needs</li><li>Be flexible and reliable, with availability for shifts including weekends and bank holidays</li><li>Work well both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care</li><li>Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work</li></ul>Please note: Sleep-ins are part of the role, with an additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in.Hightown Benefits:<ul><li>Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year, including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service</li><li>£15,513 pa for a 22.5 hour a week contract or £13.26 per hour</li><li>Workplace pension scheme and life assurance of three times your annual salary</li><li>Mileage paid for car usage</li><li>Fully paid DBS</li><li>Annual bonus based on satisfactory performance</li><li>Monthly attendance bonus and annual salary and cost of living review</li><li>Ongoing professional development and training to help you deliver outstanding support</li><li>Employee assistance helpline</li></ul>Appointment to this position will be subject to satisfactory right to work, enhanced DBS, reference and medical checks.We are an Equal Opportunities &amp; Disability Confident Employer.
