We are looking to appoint a Scheme Manager to be responsible for the delivery of a first class service to an average of 65 properties. We are looking for dedicated professionals who can demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by older people living in the community and how their needs can be met; with a particular emphasis on empowering older people to maintain their independence.
You will be responsible for supporting our elderly tenants and helping them access appropriate services to maximise their quality of life. Along with liaising with fellow professionals and other agencies to safeguard the well-being of residents, you will be responsible for keeping accurate and confidential records. You will also be responsible for managing the day to day running of the scheme, reporting any maintenance / health and safety issues and the management of the communal facilities.
You must have experience of working with the elderly, along with the ability to assess their support needs. Excellent organisational/administrative skills along with good computer skills are essential for this role. You must be empathic and supportive, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. This post is subject to DBS clearance. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
