Our Team: The CCTV Operator is an essential part of Halton’s Community Safety team responsible for the continuous monitoring of public spaces via the Council’s Control Room. Working closely with the CCTV Supervisor and CCTV Manager, you will play a direct role in protecting public areas, deterring crime, and supporting the police and other emergency services. By responding swiftly to incidents, directing resources, and assisting in identifying offenders, you will help to reduce anti-social behaviour and enhance public safety, giving peace of mind to Halton’s residents. This role requires a vigilant, proactive, and dedicated individual who is ready to make a real difference in the community. As a first point of contact for a range of incidents, you will be central to creating a safer environment for our residents, businesses and visitors. Not only that, but your role is fundamental to ensuring the safety of children and other pedestrians when crossing in designated positions Experience and formal qualifications are not required but you will have a good rapport with children and adults, alongside an awareness of road safety.
