(Winner - Contribution to the community - Surrey Business awards 2017 and Winner – Public sector security award - Government business awards 2009)</p>\n<p>The Operator roll consists of the monitoring of public space CCTV cameras and responding to calls from the elderly or vulnerable on the “Careline” Community Telecare System. You will also act as a first point of contact for all borough related issues for a number of local authorities out of hours and respond to emergency situations varying in type and severity. These range from housing maintenance matters and lost dogs, though to life and death time critical emergency responses on careline and CCTV. This is a rewarding job with great variety and potential for job satisfaction. Operators work a structured shift rota covering 24hrs a day which include early, lates, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.</p>\n<p>All shifts have a 20% enhancement added to them to cover bank holidays, weekends and unsociable hours.</p>\n<p><strong>About You</strong></p>\n<p>We are expanding and looking for applicants on a full and part time basis, with considerable experience of working with the public in either a customer services or control centre environment. You should have excellent observational and communication skills together with a caring and patient approach. A current S.I.A public space CCTV operators licence, experience of Telecare and/or liaison with the police, and having a good local knowledge will be advantageous.  </p>\n<p>Full training on all systems will be given.</p>\n<p><strong>Shift Patterns</strong></p>\n<p>As this role involves shift patterns, it is very important that you take the time to read through the attached document on the shift information.
