Hertfordshire County Council’s Integrated Services for Learning (ISL) has undergone a restructure and we are now looking for a 0 – 25 SEND Team Manager to join the SEND service. The purpose of the job will be to supervise and support the work of the St Albans and Dacorum Area SEND team to deliver high quality services for children and young people with SEND 0-25 years in line with the SEND Code of Practice, statutory responsibilities and the authority’s policies and strategies.
We are looking for an individual educated to degree level or equivalent, with qualifications and/ or experience of SEND and working within a local authority. You will have experience of working in a school, setting or service leading on SEND together with successful experience of leading and managing teams.
You will have a detailed knowledge of the SEND legislative framework 0 – 25 and the ability to support us to move our service forward working in collaboration with our partners ensuring that the child/young person and family are at the centre of all we do.
