You will be a member of the Development Management team, working on a wide range of planning applications and projects. The district has many exciting projects in the pipeline from major residential schemes to commercial development, including development of a large scale, high quality sustainable business park located adjacent to London Southend Airport.
As a senior planner you will be responsible for project managing and determining planning applications for major development proposals. You will be an experienced planner, with a sound working knowledge of development management who can work confidently with elected members, developers and partners to deliver the best development in Rochford District.
You will also be expected to deputise for the team leaders when required and help deliver a high quality service within the district. You will also be highly motivated, with proven communication skills and an ability to work with minimum supervision, have excellent customer service skills, be well organised and committed to championing the highest level of professionalism.
You must hold a full current driving licence and have use of a vehicle.
We are keen to hear from you if you have a Planning, or a related degree qualification, and have a strong desire to work towards a Planning qualification.
