We are searching for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to fill two posts within our vibrant development management service.
The Council provides an impressive working environment in a converted listed textile mill, with an on-site restaurant and free car parking. The Council receives in the region of 2,700 planning applications a year and as a Senior Planning Officer, you will deal with a full and varied caseload of complex applications and enquiries in one of the two development management area teams. The post also involves the supervision of junior members of staff and deputising for the Team Manager as and when required. You will be articulate, have excellent communication skills and show a clear commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
