About the role

This is a great opportunity to join a busy and motivated Planning Policy Team as we review the Local Plan. There will be opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in a wide range of different policy areas and engage with developers, residents and other stakeholders in the planning process. You will also be involved in supporting neighbourhood development plans and meeting the duty-to-cooperate. Dorking, where the recently refurbished offices are located, is easily accessible with good amenities and surrounded by fantastic countryside.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified planner who has experience in planning policy. You will be confident in your abilities and adopt a professional manner in working with colleagues and engaging with stakeholders about planning policy issues. You will be IT literate and willing to help develop new ways of communicating and disseminating information to stakeholders in the planning process.
