We require a motivated and inspirational individual to join our Secondary teaching team from January 2018.

We are currently looking for a qualified teacher with experience of teaching young people with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). A large number of these young people will also have associated needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), medical needs and Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

In addition to leading a tutor group the successful candidate will take on the role of a subject Leader a Kennel Lane School is a modern, vibrant and inclusive special school catering for the needs of learners who have a wide range of learning difficulties, aged from 2-19. We offer an exciting learning community where every individual is valued and nurtured.

The successful applicant will have Qualified Teacher Status and be dedicated, flexible and have the highest expectations for all learners to reach their full potential. Your planning will effectively support the individual needs of each learner that you teach. In return you can expect to enjoy working alongside a supportive and enthusiastic staff and governor team.
