We currently have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Officer within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)&nbsp; which also supports the Referral and Assessment Team on a permanent part time basis of 22.5 hours per week. The hours required are 9-5 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The role is rewarding, varied and fast paced; our main duties are to ensure that all referrals are processed and passed through to the MASH in a timely manner ensuring all statutory deadlines are met, the referrals can be made via email or phone and can come from all areas of the community from professionals and members of the public, these can be for Early Intervention support through to high risk child protection concerns.
As this team is the first point of contact for all areas of Children’s Services and the supports that are on offer, keys skills are required to include time management, flexibility, adaptability and attention to detail with good communication being the driving force behind why we can continue to provide a high level of support to an ever-expanding busy service.
We work closely with the MASH and Social Care teams ensuring we are available at often short notice to provide support for child protection meetings, with arranging and providing concise minutes within timescales, and general office administrative duties to include communication with families and professionals on case outcomes.
This is a hybrid position; office cover is required Monday to Friday on a rotational basis and the expectation is that at least 2 days per week are in the office with the remaining time working from home. The successful applicant will be expected to work mainly in the office for the first 2 weeks to familiarise themselves with work and the team.
We are looking for dynamic forward-thinking individual who is used to working to strict deadlines and performing under pressure as well as the ability to drive forward change and improve work processes.
Organisational and prioritisation skills are a must along with the ability to make decisions and deal with highly confidential information.

Children’s Residential Support Worker – Waking Nights

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will be a crucial part of the team providing a professional, child-centered service in accordance with the relevant regulations, legislation, and policy and procedures.
You will take on the role of a corporate parent, ensuring the welfare and safety of children and young people, and provide high-quality support to ensure the best outcomes.
We have a number or roles available, so we are interested in hearing from candidates who are experienced support workers with a children or young people background, as well as those who have the transferable skills and drive to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Candidate Requirements
<ul>
<li>Professional qualification in (recognised and current) QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent. Or willingness to work towards this within the statutory timescales.</li>
<li>The ability to engage with children and teenagers who have complex emotional needs.</li>
<li>2 years’ experience in Social Care is desirable.</li>
<li>Ability to work the required shift patterns including weekends, overnights, late shifts and bank holidays.</li>
