<p><strong>Make a difference for children looked after in Ealing</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a committed, organised and people‑centred professional to coordinate statutory <strong>health assessments (medical, dental and immunisations)</strong> for children looked after by Ealing Council. You’ll be part of the wider <strong>Ealing Council Children in Care</strong> service, working closely with the <strong>West London NHS Trust</strong>, CLA Nurses and the NHS North West London Integrated Care Board (ICB) to keep every child’s health and wellbeing on track.</p><p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate statutory health assessments for children looked after, ensuring activity is completed within designated timeframes.</li><li>Be the first point of contact for Social Workers and foster carers—providing clear advice and maintaining sensitive data appropriately.</li><li>Make sure that Initial and Review Health assessments are arranged and scheduled within the agreed timeframes, ensuring deadlines are met. <h4>Job summary</h4>Please refer to Job Description<h4>Job description</h4><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8 Senior Psychologist post across HMPPS Psychology Services for the Youth Custody Service. Successful applicants will work closely with all partners within YCS to promote the safety and safeguarding of children in our care and provide a safe working environment for all. This includes the ongoing implementation or various projects to promote a safer environment by meeting the needs of all children in our care. Successful applicants would preferably be based in one of the YCS sites but be willing and able to travel across England and Wales to enable effective partner engagement. Experience of working with children in custody is desirable although not essential and full training and support will be provided.
