Job Title:&nbsp;Deputy Service Manager
Location:&nbsp;Bermondsey, near Surrey Quays station. This location has step free and lift access.&nbsp;
Salary:&nbsp;£33,200
Shift Pattern:&nbsp;37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday working between 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00 and 14:00 - 22:00. You may be required to work flexibly around these hours due to service and resident requirements, including evening work and taking part in the out of hours on call rota for managers.&nbsp;
<h4>About the Role</h4>
We're seeking a Deputy Service Manager to join our new service which is opening based in Bermondsey, an Independent Approved Premises (IAP) commissioned by Criminal Justice Services (CJS). The service works with residents who have recently been released from prison and helps them to reintegrate into the community, and restart their journey to independence. The team will identify resident needs alongside any licensing restrictions, and will create tailored, person centred support plans including housing support, activities, and personal journey outcomes to help them to reintegrate. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners, with a focus on risk management and public protection.&nbsp;
As a Deputy Service Manager, you will lead the team by providing line management and leadership support to enable and empower the team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will support the Service Manager in driving service outcomes in line with our contractual requirements, ensuring quality, consistency, within a trauma informed setting.&nbsp;

<h4>About You</h4>
We're seeking someone with a genuine passion for making a difference and helping to create safer communities for everyone. You will be a keen leader, with the ability to motivate and empower a team to drive excellence as individuals and as a team. You will be knowledgeable of the Criminal Justice System and able to provide advice and guidance to the team to deliver outcomes within a residential setting. We're looking for someone who can build rapport, trust, and a psychologically informed environment for residents, staff, and relevant stakeholders.

We're looking for a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to cover the night shift in our service based in Lewisham which offers specialist intensive rehabilitation for people who require more enhanced interventions than that which is offered by commissioned community services. We support residents who live with us for up to nine months and have been discharged from acute wards to avoid admission into inpatient rehabilitation. We support our residents to step down into less supported accommodation to become more independent and integrated into the community.&nbsp;
In this role, you will ensure resident safety, wellbeing, and progress towards their recovery goals. You will support in creating an environment where they feel safe and empowered, and are building relationships with relevant partners and individuals key towards their journey. You will create support plans, plan and hold activities, and further support them to achieve greater independence. The night Shift plays a crucial role in continuing the high quality care provided during the day, ensuring a safe, respectful, and responsive environment for residents. night staff are expected to remain awake, alert, and actively engaged throughout their shift. Sleeping while on duty is strictly prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal for gross misconduct.

This post offers the opportunity to shape and develop a team at the centre of delivering essential support to Children Looked after, Care Leavers and Care experienced young adults.&nbsp;The team is based within the Corporate Parenting Service and works closely with other CLA Teams, Independent Reviewing Officers, specialist services and external agencies to provide&nbsp;an accountable statutory social work service to children, young people and their families/carers, and a statutory leaving care Service to our Care Experienced young adults, to include assessment, intervention, case/pathway planning and review, appropriate to the work of the team and overall service. &nbsp;You will oversee a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors delivering direct support, in collaboration with key agencies, to address needs and prepare young people for independence. The team assesses and supports Children Looked After, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, and those preparing to leave care, or have left care.What’s the role?As a team manager, you will be a key member of our leadership team and contribute to the development of the service. You will take a curious and wholistic approach to supporting children and young people, to keep safe and well.You will manage a team of practitioners who are responsible for undertaking direct work and other activities with children, their Carers and young people. Job Title:&nbsp;Recovery Worker
Location:&nbsp;Service based in Camberwell (Queens Road Packham is a 23 minute walk or a 13 minute ride on the 36, 136, 171 and 436 and Elephant and Castle station is a 8 minute ride on the 343). Please be kindly aware there is no step free access at this location and some of our other sites.&nbsp;
Salary:&nbsp;£27,000
Shift Pattern:&nbsp;37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota which may include 07:30 - 15:30 or 14:00. You may be required to work flexibly outside these hours as per service requirements, such as with evenings, weekends, and bank holidays including festive breaks.&nbsp;
<h4>About the Role</h4>
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team which supports adult male residents living with mental health conditions, often alongside drug or alcohol dependences, within a residential two year supported living environment. Within the service, you will provide person-centred, flexible support to help residents achieve their goals, maintain stability, and reduce hospital admissions. You will play a key role in residents’ rehabilitation and reintegration into the community by delivering tailored interventions and working closely with internal teams, partners and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

<li>Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times</li>
<li>Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals</li>
<li>Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities</li>
<li>Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins</li>
<li>Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service</li>

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting people who face challenges with their mental health and substance dependency. You will be able to build trust and positive relationships in a professional setting, working towards meaningful and lasting outcomes. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach, recognising that each person’s needs are unique and require different levels of support. With an understanding of how to help individuals overcome personal barriers, you will be motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. <li>Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector, particularly mental health and substance dependency</li>

<li>Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents</li>
<li>Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders</li>
<li>Understanding of the different needs people with multiple and complex needs have and be aware of the social marginalisation that can be attached to people who face personal challenges</li>
