This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong programme management skills and a proven track record in delivering early years and family support initiatives. 
We’re seeking a credible professional who can quickly develop and implement a robust development plan, and who brings the relationship-building skills and diplomacy needed to collaborate effectively with our dedicated teams, families, and early years providers.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and testing innovative approaches that will help Rutland meet the ambitious targets set by Government.
This is an exciting role working alongside experienced early help and early years practitioners and managers. You’ll build on the excellent practice already in place and help enhance the success of our existing Family Hub and early years programme.
Your focus will be to lead the development phase of the&nbsp;Best Start in Life and Family Hubs (BSILFH)&nbsp;programme, ensuring Rutland County Council is fully prepared to deliver its strategic objectives by April 2026.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

About you…
We are looking for someone who

<li>Has experience of leading a small team of staff</li>
<li>Is approachable, supportive and able to empower the workforce</li>
<li>Understands the importance of quality assurance systems and how they can improve services for people we support.</li>
<li>Understand the importance of breaking down barriers to ensure people who have protected equality characteristics have the same access to services as anyone else.</li>
</ul>
About the role…
<ul>
<li>Coordinate support for adults living in a supported living cottage, ensuring the staff rota is in line with their needs.</li>
<li>Keep up to date and review relevant support plans, risk assessments and tools to support the staff team to deliver high quality support.</li>
<li>Liaise with families, professionals and key people with regards to day-to-day queries and updates.</li>
<li>Undertake regular quality assurance and gain feedback from staff, families and people we support.</li>
<li>To be a hands on leader, supporting the team to deliver a high standard of care and support, to include elements of personal care.</li>
</ul>
