About you…
We are looking for someone who

<li>Has experience of leading a small team of staff</li>
<li>Is approachable, supportive and able to empower the workforce</li>
<li>Understands the importance of quality assurance systems and how they can improve services for people we support.</li>
<li>Understand the importance of breaking down barriers to ensure people who have protected equality characteristics have the same access to services as anyone else.</li>
</ul>
About the role…
<ul>
<li>Coordinate support for adults living in a supported living cottage, ensuring the staff rota is in line with their needs.</li>
<li>Keep up to date and review relevant support plans, risk assessments and tools to support the staff team to deliver high quality support.</li>
<li>Liaise with families, professionals and key people with regards to day-to-day queries and updates.</li>
<li>Undertake regular quality assurance and gain feedback from staff, families and people we support.</li>
<li>To be a hands on leader, supporting the team to deliver a high standard of care and support, to include elements of personal care.</li>
</ul>
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

This is an exciting opportunity! We are looking for an experienced Domestic Abuse Advanced Practitioner who can provide domestic abuse support to survivors and people who use harmful behaviours within Rutland. 
This is a new post and is an opportunity for the successful applicant to help shape service delivery for survivors and people who use harmful behaviours.

About you…
To be successful in the role you will need:
<ul>
<li>Professional qualification with a membership of a professional body/NVQ Level 4 qualification or minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the field.</li>
<li>Understand the issues and the impact that domestic abuse can have on individuals and families</li>
<li>Knowledge of domestic abuse legislation and how it can be used to support individual’s and families</li>
<li>Ability to engage individuals and families at points of crisis</li>
<li>Ability to work across service areas and with partner agencies to ensure safeguarding is in place</li>
</ul>
About the role… This is a varied role that would suit an individual who has sound knowledge in domestic abuse support and legislation.
Your skills and experience can make a significant difference to our community and the role is a diverse role working across adults and children’s services, if you would like a good work life balance and to truly make difference, then this role could be for you.
The role will require you to be able to work flexibly, which will include evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of our children and young people.
