These shifts are a mix of standard and unsocial hours over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week with unsocial hours worked attracting additional allowances. What will yours be?</p><p><strong>About Approved Premises</strong></p><p>Approved Premises are primarily for offenders who have been released on licence and who require a high level of supervision.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>As a residential worker in an Approved Premises, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of offenders in their transition from custody into the community, to achieve successful resettlement. You will assist with the well-being and supervision of Approved Premises residents, helping them to stick to their license conditions and supporting them to keep themselves and others safe. <p>Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. From April next year, we’re expanding our service and looking for new Support Workers to join our team – helping guide children and families on their healing journey.</p>
<p><strong>Position</strong>: Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Support Worker</p>
<p><strong>Location</strong>: Homebased with frequent travel. Role covers casework activity across Oxfordshire area including Cherwell, West Oxfordshire, South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse and Oxford City.</p>
<p><strong>Contract</strong>: Permanent full time – 37 hours per week, weekdays.</p>
<p><strong>Salary range</strong>: £25,735 - £31,453 per annum</p>
<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>
<p>As a Support Worker you will<strong> </strong>play a significant role in supporting children and families affected by domestic abuse, some of your key responsibilities will include:<strong> </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>the completion of assessments to understand the needs of families</li>
<li>delivering group work for children and parents</li>
<li>provide 1-2-1 sessions to children and families most in need</li>
<li>supporting our families through providing outreach support</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About you: </strong></p>
<p>A successful Support Worker will need a good understanding of domestic abuse and the impact on children and families (or an interest in working in this field), with experience of delivering groupwork programmes for vulnerable parents and/or children.</p>
