About the role
As a Deputy Service Manager, you will support the Service Manager in driving excellence in service delivery, being a point of contact for staff and ensuring they are empowered, skilled, knowledgeable within their roles and create a supportive environment where both staff and residents can thrive. Our residents in this service have experienced long term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services.They are here to make positive changes and receive the support they need to achieve greater independence and progress in their recovery.
In this role, as a Deputy Service Manager, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

We are excited to advertise for one Residential Support Worker positions to join our committed and highly valued staff team.
The main role is to work as Residential Support Worker rostered rota that reflects the needs of the service, or as required by the Assistant Managers and Registered unit manager. To assist in the day to day running of the Unit, to provide a comprehensive range of services to children and young people with physical or learning disabilities and their families / carers with aim to offer and maximise life opportunities and experiences.
To follow practices that comply with policies and procedures set by the Department and Unit, including standards and requirements set by the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, National Minimum Standards and Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
To work as part of a team to provide a high standard of care that meets the needs of children and young people being Looked After, or being provided short breaks services. To work within a framework which safeguards and promotes their well-being.
To follow an assessment framework that encompasses implementation of a care planning and risk assessment structure, which will consider all the physical, psychological, emotional, health, behavioural and independent or dependent needs of children and young people with a disability.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
Westbrook Short Breaks and Resource Unit provide high quality short breaks and flexible support services through a range of measures, in order to support disabled children and young people to live within their family and community within the London Borough of Hounslow.
The Service aims to provide a safe nurturing environment for disabled children and young people, based on the premise that their needs and welfare are paramount and should be met on an individual basis.
Our over-arching ethos is to provide a service that recognises children’s rights, promotes opportunity, and provides stimulating, creative and varied environments which are conducive to promoting individual development and maximising quality of life and independence.

<li>NVQ Level 3 in Social Care with Children (As of April 2012 Workforce Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child care) or equivalent is essential for this post, therefore, you will be required to hold this qualification on appointment or be committed to working towards achieving this qualification within 12 months of commencement in post.</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of the relevant Legislations in relation to working within a Children’s short break Unit; such as The Children’s Home Regulations 2015, The Children Act 1989, National Minimum Standards, Care Standards Act 2000 and Ofsted legislation.</li>
<li>An enhanced DBS is required for this role.</li>
</ul>

We are looking for Deputy Team Manager Occupational Therapist for Brent’s Reablement Team which is&nbsp;an integrated service combining the fast-paced response to Pathway 1 Home First discharges and the delivery of reablement and social care services in a short term response team set up. Working with Brent’s Adult Social Care brokerage team on training of new Reablement Home Care providers.&nbsp;
Staff development and training for team members as an integral role in the retention and upskilling of the workforce in Adult Social Care.&nbsp;
The successful candidates will ideally have post graduate experience in Social Care and or Intermediate Care, have experience of supervising staff and or students in the work place and of working with Home Care providers and/or Reablement providers.

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

<li>Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants.</li>
<li>Be a present member of the team on the night shift, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service.</li>

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service. The role includes:

About the role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Croydon. You will be based within a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.
You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

<li>Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.</li>

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. Location: Based across 4 residential services based in Croydon (11 minute walk from East Croydon station) you will need to be able to travel between sites to provide full managerial support. Access to own transport is ideal. Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday between 08:00 - 20:00, you will work within these hours, as well as some evenings and weekends hours to ensure 24 hour seamless service delivery alongside the team. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota.

About the role
We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Recovery Workers, Engagement Workers, and other frontline care and support staff. You will be present to ensure a quality service is delivered 24 hours a day, working closely with the night teams to ensure quality handovers.&nbsp;
You will provide general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles, supporting a service which focuses on Forensic Mental Health for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. The teams support our residents with person centred support to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, and have greater independence and fulfilled living.&nbsp;
Some key responsibilities include:

<li>Line Management including providing support and guidance, conducting support and supervisions, and ensuring duties are carried out effectively</li>

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Location: Based across 4 residential services based in Croydon (11 minute walk from East Croydon station) you will need to be able to travel between sites during the night shift to provide full managerial support. Access to own transport is ideal. Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access
Salary: £30,200
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, supporting the night team who predominantly work Monday to Sunday 20:00 - 08:00, you will work within these hours, as well as daytime hours to attend trainings and meetings. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota.

About the role
We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Night Recovery Workers and Night Concierge which totals around 10. You will be present to ensure a quality service is delivered 24 hours a day, working closely with the day teams to ensure quality handovers.&nbsp;
You will provide general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles, supporting a service which focuses on Forensic Mental Health for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. The teams support our residents with person centred support to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, and have greater independence and fulfilled living.&nbsp;
Some key responsibilities include:

<li>Line Management including providing support and guidance, conducting support and supervisions, and ensuring duties are carried out effectively</li>
<li>Support with the operational delivery of the service</li>
<li>Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed</li>
<li>Property and Housing Management; ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements and is safe to live in</li>
</ul>
About you
We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated individual to lead the service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. You will have knowledge around the Mental Health complexities that residents can face, and have a can-do attitude which can help empower the team to deliver their KPI's. We look for:

<li>Experience in working with people who have enduring mental health and complex backgrounds</li>
<li>Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve KPI's</li>

You will have some knowledge and background in mental health, understanding the different complexities which can arise, and able to support others to support the residents to achieve their goals. <li>Direct experience working in a Health and Social care environment or similar, ideally within mental health</li>

<li>Ability to promote the service externally to enhance reputation in the area and with partner organisations</li>
<li>IT proficiency, with the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of software</li>
<li>Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands and needs of the service. For example, Provide an emergency on call service as and when required in case of emergency</li>
