As a Support Coordinator, you will be part of a large, supportive and truly integrated multi-disciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Social Workers and Support Coordinators. Our team works closely across services, with some members employed directly by the NHS, reflecting our strong partnership approach.
We work closely with the people we support to help them maximise their independence and remain in their own homes for as long as they choose, with reduced reliance on external services. Our team plays a key role in facilitating timely hospital discharges and preventing unnecessary admissions. We achieve this through a range of support including Intermediate Care, Goal-Led Therapy, nursing input, innovative assistive technology solutions and effective signposting to our local voluntary sector. We also provide dedicated support for individuals with sensory loss, including access to our assessment suite where they can trial specialist equipment.

About the Role: You will offer guidance and Sensory Needs expertise to colleagues across Adult Social Care, building strong links with health, education, employment, and voluntary sector partners. You’ll carry out sensory needs assessments, including Level 3 assessments, and develop person-centred care and support plans that promote independence, choice, and wellbeing. You’ll act as an advocate for individuals with sensory loss, championing accessibility, inclusion, and equality, while ensuring safeguarding principles are embedded in everything you do. You’ll support individuals to access equipment, adaptations, and community resources, and help shape service improvements through collaboration and continuous learning. What we’re looking for:

<li>Experience working with people with sensory needs, in health, social care, or the voluntary sector.</li>
<li>Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to support education and awareness of Sensory Needs across Adult Social Care and in the community.</li>
<li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>A Level 3 Specialist Deafblind Assessor Qualification (or willingness to work towards it).</li>

Job Title:&nbsp;Recovery Worker
Location:&nbsp;West Ealing - &nbsp;Step free access available
Salary:&nbsp;£27,000
Shift Pattern:&nbsp;37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday varying shifts from 07:30 - 16:00 or 13:30 - 21:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements.&nbsp;
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in based in Ealing. We support adults experiencing loneliness, isolation, and mental health challenges and providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. Marron House has 18 bed spaces and we provide personalised support around daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, reminders to take medication and developing a structured weekly routine.
Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.</li>
<li>Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively.</li>
<li>Ensure all participants understand their rights and responsibilities.</li>
<li>Develop, participate in, and encourage participants to participate in the running and development of various projects and activities.</li>
<li>Empower participants to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.</li>
<li>Provide advice, information, guidance, and life skills training to participants as required.</li>
<li>Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents</li>
<li>Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders</li>
<li>Understanding of the different needs people with multiple and complex needs have and be aware of the social marginalisation that can be attached to people who face personal challenges</li>
