About you, and your responsibilities:&nbsp;
You might have experience from a Local Authority background, from a school, college, or Early Years background, you might come from a Health Service or third sector background too. Certainly, you’ll have a good knowledge and experience of the SEN system, and you will have a demonstrable understanding of the SEN Code of Practice, and you’ll be aware of changes that might be coming in the SEN system, and what that might mean for councils, schools, and most of all children and young people.&nbsp;&nbsp;
For those wanting to join our PFA team, you’ll have an understanding of what it means to Prepare for Adulthood, and a working knowledge of the concept of post-16 and post-18 provision and placements.&nbsp;&nbsp;
You’ll be good at communicating, able to share the positive and the difficult messages which come with SEN, confident in the knowledge that your managers and local leaders will support you. You’ll do this with empathy, with kindness, but also with clearness and confidence.&nbsp;&nbsp;
You’ll be well organised and able to balance competing priorities day to day, and you’ll understand why good record keeping is important, and most importantly, do it. Lead Safety Worker - Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Intervention Positive Change Service – the domestic abuse intervention service for LBTH children’s social care – is seeking permanent Lead Safety Worker to work with perpetrators of domestic abuse.Positive Change Service delivers psycho-educational interventions with perpetrators, survivors and children impacted by domestic abuse. We are a creative, supportive and motivated team, working for systems change alongside personal change, to improve the lives of families in Tower Hamlets. The service is part of the Children’s Social Care, MASH and Assessment &amp; Intervention Service. We are currently looking for staff who are experienced in working with perpetrators, survivors and their children impacted on domestic abuse.The role of Lead Safety Worker includes service coordination, direct client work (leading on both group and individual work), liaising with other stakeholders such as referrers, contributing to the strategic direction of the Positive Change Service, and mentoring students in placements. Our usual work with clients runs for around 6 months to a year. The work may involve a combination of assessment, groupwork, individual work and even co-parenting work between (ex)-partners. All of the work is aimed at increasing the safety of children and adult survivors of domestic abuse. Working hours include one evening per week (currently a Monday evening until 9pm). We are self-reflective team, providing a strong level of clinical supervision, training and development. We're looking for a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to cover the night shift in our service based in Lewisham which offers specialist intensive rehabilitation for people who require more enhanced interventions than that which is offered by commissioned community services. We support residents who live with us for up to nine months and have been discharged from acute wards to avoid admission into inpatient rehabilitation. We support our residents to step down into less supported accommodation to become more independent and integrated into the community.&nbsp;
In this role, you will ensure resident safety, wellbeing, and progress towards their recovery goals. You will support in creating an environment where they feel safe and empowered, and are building relationships with relevant partners and individuals key towards their journey. You will create support plans, plan and hold activities, and further support them to achieve greater independence. The night Shift plays a crucial role in continuing the high quality care provided during the day, ensuring a safe, respectful, and responsive environment for residents. night staff are expected to remain awake, alert, and actively engaged throughout their shift. Sleeping while on duty is strictly prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal for gross misconduct.

We're looking for a Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to cover the night shift in our service based in Lewisham which offers specialist intensive rehabilitation for people who require more enhanced interventions than that which is offered by commissioned community services. We support residents who live with us for up to nine months and have been discharged from acute wards to avoid admission into inpatient rehabilitation. We support our residents to step down into less supported accommodation to become more independent and integrated into the community.&nbsp;
In this role, you will be the main point of contact during the night shift, leading the team by example and providing specialist support to empower the team and residents to ensure resident safety, wellbeing, and progress towards their recovery goals. You will support in managing and creating an environment everyone feels safe and empowered, and are building relationships with relevant partners and individuals key towards their journey. You will create support plans, plan and hold activities, and further support them to achieve greater independence. you’ll deliver one to one therapeutic support, act as a key worker, and help residents develop the skills and confidence to manage their mental health and wellbeing. In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities.
