Experienced Social Worker - Children in Care Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Solutions Practitioner with a specific focus on families who have No recourse to public funds or are at risk of homelessness.Family Solutions work holistically with families with multiple and complex needs and children to enable them to see their strengths and build upon these to make positive changes to their lives. The Family Solutions Practitioner – NRPF Lead works closely with families where there are issues of no recourse to public funds or concerns of families being homeless, to build strong relationships based on respect and positive regards. Family Solutions Practitioner- NRPF Lead

As the Senior Social Worker, you will be required to contribute to the delivery of a highly effective Adult Social Care service in an efficient manner. Social Worker - Childrens Social Work Team

We are currently recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join our 16+ Care Leavers Service. You will support children in care aged 16+ whilst you prepare them for transition to a personal advisor at 18 and into independence.As a senior practitioner in our 16 plus Care Leavers Service you will support the team manager within the team and provide high quality case advice and guidance to colleagues focusing on the wellbeing of children in care and care experienced young people and supporting them on their journey to independence. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the learning and development of others either through acting as a Practice Assessor for students on placement, or contributing to training activities in a specialist area. You will be able to demonstrate expert and effective practice that reflects a commitment to relationship and strengths-based practice, assessing and managing higher levels of risk, including contextual harm, and working collaboratively with children, young people and their families and carers. Senior Practitioner - 16+ Care Leavers Service 

Medway’s Children’s services, who have been rated Good recently by Ofsted are recruiting a part time Independent Reviewing Officer who has children at the very heart of all they do. Please note, the successful candidate will be offered a part time contract consisting of 22.2 hours per week over 3 days. You will develop strong relationships with the children and young people in your care and help shape the best possible opportunities and experiences so that they can have the best future they can.
