The post holder will be accountable for the strategic management of complex contracts and procurement processes that drive the GLA’s and Programme’s goals, ensuring a focus on delivering value for money and enhancing outcomes for Londoners. They will ensure integration between the GLA Group Clean Power Commercial Programme and other related programmes and strategies, accelerates the purchasing of clean power, solar panel installations on buildings, heat pumps roll out and buildings retrofit among public sector organisations across London.&nbsp; They will provide commercial expertise to ensure this programme is delivered to high standard, provide guidance and support, engage with key stakeholders, and work closely with senior leadership and the Mayor’s Office to deliver the Mayor’s ambitions.
They will work with a wide array of stakeholders such as GLA Group organisations (Transport for London, Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, London Fire Brigade, London Legacy Development Corporation, The Metropolitan Police Service and Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation), central government, London Treasury, Community Energy Groups, London Boroughs, schools, and other delivery partners.
<h2>What your day will look like</h2>
<ul>

Internal Communications Officer

We are currently recruiting 2 full time to contribute to the delivery of our highly effective AMHP Team, based within Adult Social Care. The service is delivered using a strength based, personalised approach to assessments, ensuring the individual remains at the centre of all interventions. You will be required to act as an Approved Mental Health Professional providing a statutory Mental Health Act Assessment service, encompassing all client groups and including the provision of advice, in order to meet the immediate needs of the individuals involved and to achieve the best outcome. You will also need to provide precise information to service users and others about their rights in relation to MHA interventions and facilitate access to appropriate advocacy and advice networks including the IMHA and IMCA services.The successful candidates will be responsible for triaging referrals, allocation of assessments, undertaking Mental Health Act assessments and chairing the daily allocations meeting on a regular basis. This role will also involve undertaking the role of Social Supervisor for conditionally discharged patients to fulfil our statutory responsibility for clients who are subject to Part 3 of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended 2007). The successful applicant will also be responsible for the supervision and appraisal process of newly qualified AMHP’s in line with the statutory requirements, as well as the supervision and support of staff undertaking the AMHP training. You will need to maintain an awareness of changes in mental health theories, legislation, and Medway Council policies, local and agency practices, in order to disseminate knowledge and contribute to the delivery of a high standard AMHP service. You will be expected to attend networking events that take place outside usual working hours. There may be occasional weekend events to attend.

<h4>About the role</h4>
Rochford District Council and Brentwood Borough Council have each recently adopted refreshed Economic Growth Strategies covering the period of 2025-2028. To deliver on Rochford and Brentwood Councils' ambitions, we are looking for an Economic Development Officer to join our OneTeam that serves both councils.
Rochford District Council priorities include town centre regeneration, supporting growing businesses, skills delivery and sustainability. Brentwood Borough Council priorities include supporting start-ups, skills delivery and sustainability. <h4>The role will involve</h4>

Project and Strategy Support: Assist in implementing the Councils’ Economic Development Strategies and action plans, including leading and managing specific projects and feasibility work including those funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.</li>
<li>
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a deputy contact for external organisations such as Essex County Council, attending networking events and assist with organising Council-run business engagement programmes.</li>
<li>
Business and Investment Services: Provide advice and signposting to local businesses, respond to inward investment enquiries and contribute to strategic economic development documents.</li>
<li>
Communications and Administration: Create and manage content for newsletters, websites and social media, while also handling administrative and financial tasks up to £25,000.</li>
<li>
Corporate and Compliance Responsibilities: Work flexibly across Brentwood and Rochford councils, adhere to safeguarding, data protection, health and safety, and equality policies, and support emergency response efforts when required.</li>

Tonbridge &amp; Malling Borough Council is looking for a motivated Electoral Services Officer to join our friendly and busy Electoral Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering elections, referendums, and maintaining the Register of Electors, ensuring that residents can participate in the democratic process.
As an Electoral Services Officer, you will report to the Senior Electoral Services Officer and Head of Electoral Services. Your role will be to assist the team to deliver smooth and efficient electoral services in our Borough. Your key responsibilities will include:

<li>Maintaining and updating the Register of Electors, including managing absent voters and election staffing records.</li>
<li>Handling public and stakeholder enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate and professional responses.</li>
<li>Assisting in the planning, organisation, and delivery of elections, referendums, and statutory polls.</li>
<li>Supporting voter engagement campaigns to encourage participation in elections.</li>
<li>Keeping up to date with electoral legislation and ensuring compliance with the Elections Act 2022.</li>
<li>Carrying out general administrative duties, including data entry, document scanning, and customer service.</li>
<li>Assisting in the preparation, compilation, and publication of key electoral documents.</li>
<li>Handling and transporting election materials such as ballot boxes when required.</li>
</ul>
We are looking for someone who is organised and detail-oriented, with excellent administrative skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, capable of handling enquiries professionally and diplomatically. Proficiency in IT will be essential, with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience in Electoral services and software an advantage, but not essential.
This role requires flexibility, especially during election periods when additional hours will be necessary, including evenings and weekends.
