Assess the issues and the risks and to make decisions to mitigate the risks to ensure the safety of the customer and property.</p>\n<p>You will assist in maintaining and ensuring the PSL void properties are compliant and ready for tenants<strong>. </strong>To be responsible for the Hand back of Homes for Haringey and Councils Leasing properties, leading on the dilapidation and disrepair claims from property owners from inception to completion.</p>\n<p>The Temporary Accommodation Service are responsible for the procurement of properties used as temporary accommodation for homeless households and for managing the relationships and contracts we have temporary accommodation providers, ensuring that a sufficient supply of good quality and reasonably priced accommodation is available.</p>\n<p>This role sits within the Contracts & Procurement Team which is tasked with managing our temporary and emergency accommodation provision and contracts, overseeing delivery of reasonably priced temporary housing to meet identified demand.</p>\n<p>A key element of the contract & procurement work is building and maintaining relationships with providers and agents, as well as carrying out inspections and following up on repairs and property conditions.</p>\n<h3>About you</h3>\n<p>You will be required to successfully manage projects and work with contractors to ensure work is being completed to a satisfactory standard. The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.</p>\n<p>Experience with building works, dealing with voids and disrepair. Dilapidation, handbacks is desirable.
