Northcott is a Specialist School (Communication and Interaction) for 108 pupils aged 5-16, predominantly with a diagnosis of ASD or complex Speech and Language difficulties, some have additional medical issues.

The school was rated as ’ Good with Outstanding features’ in September 2009 by Ofsted.

As well as the main school there is a specialist autistic provision of three classes and an ASD outreach service which supports mainstream schools across the city.
