The Governors and headteacher of Malpas Alport Endowed Primary School are excited to advertise two opportunities for a teaching assistant to join our nursery team. The first position is 2 days a week 8.30-3.30pm, starting January 2026 and the second is a temporary position for 1 term, 32.5 hours per week, also starting January 2026
Our school is situated in the beautiful village of Malpas and has good links to the A41 and the A49. It is a 1.5 entry school with 270 children on roll including a 26 place nursery for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Our staff are a caring team who thrive on positivity and kindness.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who has a level 2 or 3 TA qualification, is passionate about making a difference in the life of every child who they work with, has patience, kindness and understands a trauma informed approach to working with all children and adults. The role includes looking for opportunities to develop the curriculum through the environment and using initiative to make enhancements and develop an outstanding provision for all our children.
The successful candidate will liaise closely with parents and teachers in their team to ensure a cohesive and co-ordinated approach to the child's daily provision. They will have experience of working with children with additional needs, although training can be provided.

Due to an increase in funding, we are seeking to appoint several part-time teaching assistants at Poulton Lancelyn Primary School.
 We require caring, committed individuals who have the ability to work as part of the school team and inspire trust and confidence inchildren.
 We are looking for teaching assistants with experience who:
 Can demonstrate outstanding classroom practice Has high expectations of children, behaviour and personal development Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children Has a positive outlook and loves developing children's learning Initially, these positions are fixed term contract with the possibility of extending this beyond the academic year. In order to recruit the high-quality teaching assistants our pupils deserve to support with teaching and learning, we are open to individual discussions regarding days and times.
