Newham Partnership Working (NPW)

Team Leader

£32,628 to £35,286

NPW is a mutual organisation formed by Newham schools and working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and other education providers. NPW is undergoing an exciting period of transformation to ensure we continue to both provide and commission outstanding services for schools. NPW’s terms and conditions for employees are similar to Local Government conditions of service, including the Local Government Pension Scheme.

NPW currently support over 90 schools, both within Newham and its surrounding boroughs, with a comprehensive range of high quality services. Our support removes the external range of pressures that our school leaders face, allowing them to focus on their core purpose - education.

We are currently seeking a Team Leader to work collaboratively managing a team of 12 staff inclusive of Senior/HR Operation Advisors delivering a contract and payroll administration service to our clients. You will manage the team in delivering an accurate payroll service, exposure to Itrent and One Oracle is highly desirable. This position also entails managing projects on service improvement and delivery. If you have experience of leading payroll systems and dealing with hr/payroll administration and like the idea of working in a busy, customer orientated environment, we would welcome your application.

Applications for the post is by official application form only, no CVs please.

Further information is available from Jacqui Earl, HR Operations Manager, email:

Closing date is Friday 15 September 2017

Interviews will be held week beginning 25th September 2017

The schools in Newham are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
