If you are looking to develop your career and have a Degree in social work and are registered with the HCPC then perhaps it’s time for you to step into this managerial role.

We are currently looking for a Team Leader with significant experience in front line social work in Adult Social Care to join our review team in West Berkshire.

In addition to your knowledge on all aspects of Adult Social Care, you will need to have supervisory experience and be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the regulations and legal framework within Adult Social Care, particularly in relation to Mental Capacity, Dols and Safeguarding.

You will need time management skills together with experience to enable you to work effectively and efficiently within the Review team.

You will assist the team manager, overseeing the running of this team and will be required to provide supervision, professional guidance, advice and support to social workers, occupational therapists and social care practitioners, helping them develop and ensuring that best professional practice and performance management standards are maintained within the team and across the service. You will also manage team performance to ensure service targets are met.
