*Job Summary* Technical Architect PO6: Starting salary £44,496 pa rising in annual increments to £47,292 pa incl LW plus supplement to take total salary to equivalent of PO7 – spinal points 51-54 An opportunity has arisen in Lambeth Council for a Solutions Architect to join the Architecture Team. Lambeth Council is constantly evolving as it modernises and improves its effectiveness and access to services, in part through better use of information and technology. Council transformation plans will require a new information and technology capability to design services which are ‘digital by default’ and create a single, digital front door to our services. The post holder will be responsible for designing, planning the implementation and maintenance of the Council’s technical architecture. They will work closely with the Enterprise, Solution and Data Architects as well as the Information Governance Team and other ICT colleagues to fully understand the requirements and ensure the Council has fit for purpose, appropriately configured and well maintained technical infrastructure on which business applications and data can be delivered successfully. The successful candidate must have: * Demonstrable success in working within an IT architecture environment and solid knowledge of current and emerging technologies. * Good stakeholder management skills. * Demonstrable experience of delivering work to agreed timelines and quality criteria within a similar role. * Good understanding of the concepts and practices of an Enterprise Architecture framework such as TOGAF. * Good understanding of how changes to information systems and technical architecture may impact on ICT users. * Please see full list of requirements, accountabilities and responsibilities in the attached Job Description for full details before applying for the role.
