Brighton & Hove City Council are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Transport Planning Officer to support the work of the Transport Policy & Strategy Group in the council’s City Transport Division.

Working within the Development & Transport Assessment Team, the successful applicants will be assessing the transport implications of new developments across the city and securing appropriate mitigation through Section 106 and 278 agreements.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity which involves working on a number of high profile developments throughout the city.

The successful candidate shall have experience of reviewing and assessing Transport Statements/Assessments, sustainable transport and the planning process and be able to successfully work and negotiate with developers and their consultants.
