The services main purpose is the conveyance by accessible buses of Adults or Children with learning or physical difficulties to Day Centre's or Schools and then returning them home.&nbsp; &nbsp; Our aim is to provide a safe quality driven customer focused service, whilst maximizing fleet availability, achieving positive outcomes and reducing waiting times, route times with efficient route scheduling. About the Job Transport Passenger Assistant&nbsp;role is to carry out the following: We require 10 Passenger Assistants to join our operations team based at Central Depot in Hornchurch. Passenger Assistants will be assigned to routes with the main objective of safely conveying (Children and Adults with disabilities) on to our buses, whilst securing them safely (fitting of seat belts / harnesses) or securing wheel chairs in place before the assigned bus commences its route. Passenger Assistants are required to monitor our passengers on our Buses and liaise with the Driver / Clients and Transport operations regarding any delays or incidents Passenger assistants can also be assigned to Ad-hoc work which can be out of borough trips.
