We have vacancies for Waking Night Support Workers, Supports Workers and Senior Support Workers, full and part time hours available in the following areas and units:

  • Watford (Cassio Metro)
  • Rickmansworth (Harefield Road)
  • Bushey (Bushey Flats, Bushey Meadows & Manor House)
  • Abbots Langley (Tannerswood Close)
  • Hemel Hempstead (Lawn Lane)

Salary
Waking Night & Support Worker: £8.70 – £10.07 per hour plus £1300 annual allowance (pro rata)*terms apply
Senior Support Worker: £10.07 - £12.12 per hour plus £1300 annual allowance (pro rata)*terms apply

No previous experience or qualifications are needed for Waking Night & Support Workers, but an ability to focus on the needs of individuals. Senior Support Workers must have previous experience of supporting people with disabilities, and have gained an NVQ/QCF level 2 qualification or equivalent and be willing to work towards Level 3 relevant training.

We need enthusiastic and resilient staff to work in our Supported Living Units. We support adults with Learning Disabilities some require support to work towards independence and some have complex needs including physical and mental health disabilities. We need talented staff with a blend of skills, helping people to develop and then deliver Support Plans which spell out the person’s wishes and what they need.

You must be able to work shifts, weekends, sleep ins in some services and some bank holidays.

You must be comfortable in supporting Adults with:

  • Personal care
  • Daily living skills
  • Shopping
  • Planning meals
  • Cooking
  • Finances
  • Paperwork
  • Attending medical appointments
  • Or just listening
