Post title<h4>Cleansing Driver Operative</h4>Post NoTBC SalaryStarting from £28,598 to £31,022 p.a.Scale / BandGrade 4Hours37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Place of workCommerce Way, Lancing Closing date20th November 2025 at 23:55pm InterviewsTBC Do you like to be outside in the fresh air all day?Are you into staying fit and healthy?Do you love an early finish every day?<h4>We are currently recruiting for a physically fit, Cleansing Driver Operative to join our friendly team to work in Adur and Worthing.</h4>The post holders main tasks include domestic and commercial food waste collections, litter picking, sweeping shop fronts, emptying litter bins, collection of bulky items from householders, collection of fly tipping around the area, replacing, fixing and repairing litter bins and the delivery and collection of trade &amp; domestic bins to customers throughout the Adur and Worthing district. The post holder will take total responsibility for the vehicle, which includes the daily checks before driving the vehicle onto the highway. You will ensure all safe working practices are complied with under the health and safety code of practice. Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed and returned to the office, as necessary and that all sites are left in a clean, tidy and safe condition.During and at the end of each working day, the post holder is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is taken to the designated disposal point and emptied.
